At VAARHAFT, we see this as a very critical and dangerous development for every company and society. Our mission is to restore trust in digital media by ensuring authenticity, verifying credibility, and reliably detecting fraud. We provide the trust and clarity needed to protect companies from fraud and secure their processes.
The name VAARHAFT is a neologism derived from the German word “wahrhaft”. It essentially means “true,” “sincere,” or “genuine.” It describes something that is true, not falsified or faked, and is often understood morally as sincere, honest behavior or speech. This is exactly what we at VAARHAFT want to ensure for digital media in times of deepfakes and genAI.
